Supported Fostering Services (SFS), is a leading fostering agency, recruiting foster carers, offering foster parents training and support. Supported Fostering Services matches the needs of children and young people looked after by local authority social service departments with the different skills and abilities of foster families.
Supported Fostering Services is a fostering charity, established over 10 years. SFS is an Independent Fostering Provider (IFP) sometimes called an Independent Fostering Agency. All Supported Fostering Services foster carers are members of the fostering network.
Fostering and adoption are very different. This site is specifically about fostering and SFS fostering.
Supported Fostering Services have offices in London (London fostering services), in south London and in north London. The south London fostering office is in Lewisham and the north London fostering office is in New Southgate. There is also a fostering office in Wales, specifically South Wales.
